The New York Post reports that Zachary is said to have been playing in his family pool on Saturday, and it is believed that he became trapped underwater when his arm got sucked into a drainpipe that was perhaps missing a safety valve. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed on the young boy at the scene, but he was pronounced dead later at Greenwich Hospital.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Temple Sholom in Greenwich. Zachary's obituary said that he 'was an accomplished swimmer, computer wizard, avid photographer at the age of 6. Zachary loved life and lived his short life to the fullest'. Our thoughts go out to Mr and Mrs Cohn.
SAC Capital is one of the world's largest hedge funds, with around $14bn under management.
