With more financial markets professionals currently on the lookout for jobs than there are open positions, it's clearly a buyer's market. And some redundant bankers are taking advantage of their situation (and their exit cash) to take stock. Not everyone is in a rush to get back into the industry.
So, we did a quick poll, and 734 of our readers responded.
We asked you to let us know what you intend to do if you have been made redundant / if you are likely to be made redundant.
And here's a note of the poll results:
41.7% plan to going travelling
25.7% will immediately seek a job back in the financial markets
22.0% will immediately seek a job outside of sector
5.0% will seek any job
4.6% will retire
1.0% others
