UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown is the man our readers believe was mainly responsible for saving us from financial Armageddon, on the basis that his model to take equity in troubled UK banks was later adopted by governments around the world. US lawmakers and current US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner come way down the list.
