Here are just a few of the comments we have received in following our campaign to try and save David Kiely, the Macquarie Bank client investment manager who has become the latest internet sensation after being caught live on TV oggling semi-nude pics of Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, from getting the chop.

1. 'Macquarie will be making a PR mistake if David Kiely is sacked'.

2. 'Finally a straight banker!'

3. 'There is a responsibility chain here. The firm is to blame. This should not have been allowed to happen'.

4. 'Dave has done the banking industry a favour - through your actions in supporting him, you've shown that at least some of you bankers still have a heart'.

5. 'Hopefully management at Mac Bank will see this for what it is - trivial. And think about all that free publicity!'.

6. 'David, hang in there pal. All you have proved is that you are human - who wouldn't look at pics of Miranda Kerr!'.

7. 'This country is becoming more like the Bible Belt in America. For God's sake, give the guy a break'.

8. 'What's the big deal ? There was nothing offensive in the pictures. The world has gone crazy'.

9. 'I used to work with Dave, and he is definitely a good bloke. The pics were harmless, and Mac Bank should stand by him'.

10. 'I'm not a banker, but I have joined the campaign regardless. The guy doesn't deserve to be dismissed!'.
