The category winners will be asked to supply a personal statement and a recommendation from a line manager. Recommendations will need to be based on pre agreed criteria which will be communicated with the winners in the next few days. Based on the recommendations received, the judges will decide on the overall Rising Star.

The Awards will culminate in an Awards Ceremony in the City in early 2009, where the winner will be announced and will walk off with a cheque for £1,000 and be crowned Badenoch & Clark Rising Star 2009.
